Yeovil Town Football Club is working on a strategy to allow for improvements to stadium facilities at Huish Park.
The Npower League One side’s stadium facilities fail to reflect the improvements that the club has made with its football business.
Yeovil Chairman John Fry recently met with South Somerset District Council officials to discuss the club's requirements.
Speaking of the club’s plan for the future Fry said: "The current resources and assets are not commercially viable and they do not meet the criteria for our Football League status.
"We are now working on a strategy to create income streams through the commercial development of parts of the site and to enable major improvements to the stadium to be undertaken in the future.
"We have recently created a new business model and restructured the company to focus on the strategic issues facing Yeovil Town in the future.”
