Fifa has signed a sponsorship extension with car manufacturer Hyundai Kia that will see the motor giant remain as a top-tier FIFA partner up to and including the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Hyundai’s link with FIFA date back to the 2002 World Cup and this latest agreement was signed with four years remaining on the existing deal.
FIFA President Joseph S Blatter said: “We are extremely happy to extend the partnership with Hyundai-Kia as one of the top FIFA Partners who will provide active support for a further two editions of the FIFA World Cup™ in 2018 and 2022. Our partnership demonstrates a shared philosophy and passion for the game of football. We would like to thank Hyundai and Kia for their ongoing commitment and partnership,”
