Watford Football Club has agreed a double deal which will see sportswear manufacturer Burrda become their official Club Sponsor and Kit Supplier.
Swiss international company Burrda will supply home and away kit to the Championship side as well as branded training wear, for the next two seasons.
Burrda’s added role as official club sponsor will see their own logo emblazoned on all the kit they produce as well as on the clubs official website, match day programme and around the Vicarage Road Stadium.
This is the second UK football contract for Burrda after recently signing a three-year kit deal with Premiership side Wolves. Burrda already have a high profile in the Middle East supplying kit for both Kuwait’s and Qatar’s national sides.
Graham Taylor, Watford's Chairman, said: "Today's announcement marks the start of a partnership which we're sure will add genuine value to the Club and for our fans far beyond just its monetary worth.
"We've built a very strong relationship with Burrda over the last few months and are genuinely excited by their plans to quickly become a major global kit supplier.
"They have a very clear vision and by investing in Watford as official club sponsor, on top of the kit supply agreement, we are not only pleased to be working with them at the start of their journey, but will be doing all we can to help develop their brand for the duration of our relationship which we hope will be a long and prosperous one."
Burrda's General Manager, Charles Diab, added: "Next season is our first in the UK football market and it was vital for us to launch with the right kind of partner and Watford FC is just that.
"It genuinely is a club at the heart of its community and the outstanding work it does with young talent at The Harefield Academy really caught our eye. This makes it stand out as a progressive club ready to challenge in its field, which is exactly how we see ourselves too”
