Shrewsbury net two sponsorship deals

Shrewsbury Town FC has secured a three year contract extension with current sponsors Greenhous, in the same week that they have revealed a new partnership with kit suppliers Joma Sport.

New and used car dealer Greenhous will continue to feature on the Shrew’s home and away shirts as the team’s official sponsor for the next three years. They will also sponsor and name Shrewsbury’s ground which, despite being completed for the 2007/08 season the ground has never been officially christened. Greenhous are inviting supporters to vote for the stadium’s new name on their website. The winning name will be revealed at the Shrew’s first home game of the new season.

Commenting on the extension Ian Bebbington, operations and commercial manager said: "Shrewsbury Town is extremely fortunate to have such a loyal, stable and local sponsor as Greenhous, and we're delighted to extend our work with the company,"

JOMA Sport

As well as renewing old partnerships, Shrewsbury Town have secured a new deal with Spanish kit suppliers Joma, which will see them become the Official Technical Sportswear providers for the next three seasons.

Joma, who also work with Sevilla, will be helping the Shrew’s celebrate their milestone 125th anniversary this year, by designing a special kit traditional to the one worn 125 years ago.

Joma’s UK sales director John Haile commented “We are delighted to be working with Shrewsbury Town FC in what is a very important anniversary season for the club. What is special for us is that Shrewsbury Town is the first football club that JOMA have signed in the UK since we launched as a subsidiary here earlier this year.”
