Ryman Division One bound side Ashford Town have joined the growing list of clubs to raffle their shirt sponsorship off with the Short Lane club offering tickets for just £50.
The club plan to sell 1000 tickets and raise £50,000 from the scheme with the prize including home and away shirt sponsorship for the 2010-11 season; perimeter signage round the pitch at Short Lane and two season tickets for league matches next season including boardroom hospitality.
The initiative will also see every entrant receive a place in a new directory of business to be published in every home game programme in 2010-11.
Committee member John Warrington said: "In these tough times, sports sponsorship isn’t high on the agenda of too many companies so we had to come up with something different.
''Even if a company doesn’t win the main prize, £50 for a season’s worth of advertising in our programme represents remarkable value."
