Scotland’s oldest professional football team, Kilmarnock, has announced it has teamed up with Verve Motor Dealer Group.
The sponsorship, which comes into affect next season, will see the Verve logo on the front of all the team’s shirts as well as around the Rugby Park stadium and in match day programmes.
Commenting on the deal Verve's founder and managing director Charlie Adair said: " We are absolutely delighted to be so closely associated with Kilmarnock FC and to become the club's proud sponsors for the new season means something very special to us. As we have expanded throughout Scotland over the last decade or so, we have always taken our responsibilities very seriously - from providing secure employment for many local people to contributing to the local community - Verve has always given more back than it gets. And becoming proud sponsors of Kilmarnock FC is just another example of supporting the people and the community in which we live and work."
Michael Johnston, Chairman of Kilmarnock FC is also positive about the partnership and added: "Everyone at Kilmarnock FC is delighted to have secured a sponsorship partner with such strong commitment to the local economy. The opportunities for joint marketing initiatives are enormous and we look forward to a close working relationship with Charlie and his team at Verve. This partnership underlines the value of sponsoring Scotland's oldest professional football team and the only SPL club in south-west Scotland."
