Football League raises stakes with Coral

Bookmaker Coral will become the new ‘Official Betting and Gaming partner’ of The Football League and The Football League interactive (FLi).

The three year deal begins on 1st July 2010 and will see the FLi develop the internet and mobile rights of 82 clubs making it easier for fans to place bets through their own team’s websites.

Coral, who own 1600 betting shops as well as coral.co.uk, will benefit from the increased advertising exposure and hospitality at the Football League’s final events.

Football League Commercial Director Stewart Thomson said: "I'm delighted to welcome Coral as our new 'Official betting and gaming partner'.
