Back in June JD Sports launched its very own World Cup, the World Cup of Trainers. With 32 of the most popular trainers such as Nike Air Max 90 and adidas Originals Training P.T competing for the title of World Champion.
The format for the competition has been the same as the football World Cup, with eight groups of four and the top two from each group going on to compete in the knockouts. However rather than goals, it’s votes that decide the winner of the tie. Fans of the JD facebook page have the opportunity to vote for their favourite pair of trainers, the trainer with the most votes wins and progresses in the competition.
Every fan who enters the competition and votes for a pair of trainers will be in with a chance of winning an amazing 32 pairs of trainers and becoming the envy of all their friends.
The competition is now drawing to a close with the grand final commencing on 9th July and finishing at midnight Sunday 11th July. So you still have time to enter and be in with a chance of winning that fantastic prize, but you’ll have to act fast.
The final is a classic and much anticipated Nike v adidas Originals grudge match. Representing Nike will be the Nike Air Max Light and flying the flag for adidas Originals will be adidas Originals Marathon 80.
