Chorley Football Club has secured a new sponsorship deal with The Chorley Group.
The leading motor dealership, one of the town’s most notable firms, will back the Evostick side for the 2010/11 season.
As part of the deal Chorley’s Duke Street ground will be renamed the The Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium.
Ex Blackburn Rovers star and current Chorley manager Gary Flitcroft, commented on the sponsorship saying: “To have the backing of a company like The Chorley Group is another major step in the right direction.
"We want to create a family atmosphere and improve our links with the local community so it’s great to link up with a family-run firm like The Chorley Group, which has a similar ethos.
"I think people can sense there’s something exciting happening at Chorley and I am confident I can build a squad that is capable of pushing for promotion.”
Andrew Turner, managing director of The Chorley Group, added: “After speaking with Garry and hearing his plans for the new season, we felt this was a great opportunity to get involved again.
“He’s got some big plans for the club and I am genuinely excited by the prospects for the forthcoming season.
“To be able to sponsor the club in the town which carries our name is a great thrill and we are very keen to develop a strong working relationship with the club.”
