Newly reformed Chester FC has banked a major sponsorship deal with MBNA.
The two year deal will see MBNA, part of the Bank of America group, sponsor the club’s kit for the next two seasons.
MBNA are Chester’s largest private employer with over 4,000 staff working at their European Card Service HQ on Chester Business Park.
Chester chairman Chris Pilsbury described the sponsors as a 'true community business for a true community club'.
He added: “We are delighted that MBNA are continuing to support the club as they have throughout our campaign for a new fan-owned club. We would like to thank them for their ongoing support.
“We hope the fans will love the new kit and be excited by this tie-up with MBNA.”
John Greaves, communications executive for Bank of America Europe card services, which operates the MBNA brand, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the new Chester FC kit.
“The club is in its infancy, it is establishing a platform for the future, in a good league, with a good manager and, we hope, a fantastic future.”
Chester FC was reformed by a consortium of fans after going into liquidation in March. They will play their first season in the Evo Stick League One North Division.
