£10k facilities makeover up for grabs!

A £10,000 facilities makeover is up for grabs for one non-league club playing in The Evo-Stik League next season.

Courtesy of new sponsors Evo-Stik and in partnership with leading builders’ merchant, Travis Perkins, clubs in The Evo-Stik League have the opportunity to bag a £10k Travis Perkins voucher which can be redeemed at any TP merchant nationwide against materials to upgrade club facilities.

The first initiative of its kind from a sponsor in the non-league game, the competition sees Evo-Stik investing further in its support of the Northern Premier League as well as working to raise awareness of the need for further local support and investment in non-league clubs.

The competition, launched today (14th July), is open to every club playing in The Evo-Stik League and asks clubs to prove on film, in no more than three minutes, why their club deserves to win the massive £10k prize as well as capturing the essence of non-league football.

Mark Harris, Chairman of the Evo-Stik League said: “We are delighted to see our new sponsor, Evo-Stik, launching this initiative, which we are sure will be the first of many. The quality of club facilities in the non-league game varies substantially and many clubs are constantly battling against budget restraints for required works and improvements.

“Non-league football plays such an important role in the wider English game, as supported by Sir Geoff Hurst at the recent launch of Evo-Stik as our new sponsor. Initiatives such as this are critical to highlighting the required support and investment many non-league clubs are in such desperate need of.”

Tony Davison, Managing Director of Bostik UK said: “We are really excited about our first big initiative as The Evo-Stik League. On announcement of Evo-Stik as the new sponsor of the NPL, we committed to significantly enhancing the future of non-league football in the North and Midlands, with increased funding and a greater focus on club development and this is the first initiative of many to do just that.

“We are actively encouraging creativity, humour and artistic license within competition entries so are looking forward to some fantastic submissions!”

Clubs have until the 30th September to create a masterpiece worthy of the £10k prize. Following this date, five finalists will be selected by a judging panel and put to the public vote via the Evo-Stik League website from the 18th October. The final winner will be announced on the 15th November.
