Zamaretto League side Wimborne Town Football Club has confirmed it has cleared its tax debt.
The Magpies, currently in their first season in Division One South & West, were reported to owe nearly £30,000 in November last year. Now chairman Ken Stewart has confirmed that the complete debt has been paid off.
He said: "The tax bill at Wimborne Town Football Club has passed and it has all been paid off completely.
"We’ve now just got the current liability and that is brilliant news for us all.
"It has been paid off after hard work from all the directors. We’ve got seven directors now, all pulling their weight, and things are looking up.
"It was approaching £30,000 and that has all been paid off and we’re really happy that we have all pulled together."
