Eastbourne Town Football Club has announced an official tie up with local children’s charity ICT4Autism.
Eastbourne is the oldest club in Sussex and very proud of its rich heritage, but it is with the future in mind that this partnership has been agreed.
David Jenkins, Eastbourne Town chairman said: "We are both pleased and excited at this opportunity to work together with Sally Huggett and her team, contributing to those children who need our help, support and understanding. We hope those that support our football club in so many ways will also extend that hand of friendship to this very worthy charity.
“As an F.A. Charter Standard Community Club, we are delighted to open our doors to invite everyone in the community to come free of charge to our pre-Xmas game with current league title favourites, the Metropolitan Police FC. This game is at The Saffrons on Saturday 18th December, kick-off is 3pm and we will be holding bucket and exit collections in support of ICT4Autism.
As this is the last home match before the Christmas festivities, we hope all those that have finished their shopping would join us for the game. Match sponsors, MDJ Services are supplying hot mince pies for the first 250 through the gate!"'
