Colwyn Bay Football Club has announced that it has extended its main sponsorship agreement with Co-operative Food Retail.
The new deal takes the Evo-Stik League Premier Division side’s association with Co-operative Food Retail up to four years.
Colwyn Bay Football Club managing director Darren Cartwright revealed that the deal has been extended for a further two seasons:
“We are delighted to have secured a further extension to the current agreement. The new deal is worth a substantial five-figure sum which has increased in value on the existing agreement and now covers the 2011/12 & 2012/13 seasons.”
“The deal gives us much more certainty in our financial planning, moving forward and is a huge vote of confidence in what we have, and are trying to achieve at the club.”
“We are very grateful for the Co-operative’s backing and for the personal support from their Directors, David Messom and Mark Owen, who are both avid Colwyn Bay supporters”
Co-operative trading director David Messom added: “The continued progress of the club, with promotion on the field and their increasing involvement with the local community, has given us the confidence to continue our support for a further two years beyond this season.”
The deal will give Co-operative Food Retail branding through shirt sponsorship, man of the match awards, support of fundraising initiatives and sponsorship of entry for children, students and members of the armed forces for a selected game in each season.
