Tottenham Hotspur has signed a new shirt sponsorship with international specialist bank Investec, exclusively for the club’s competition appearances.
The two year deal, a first for the Premiership club, will see Investec’s logo feature on all cup match shirts, including European club competitions, FA Cup and League Cup matches, from this season onwards.
Daniel Levy, Chairman, Tottenham Hotspur, said: "We are delighted to have Investec as our new club sponsor and partner. Investec is a well respected international specialist bank and asset management company and we shall be working with them to grow their brand internationally.
"We are looking forward to the new season of domestic and European competitions, including the opportunity to qualify for the Champions League. We have a great heritage and record of cup successes and we shall be approaching this season's competitions with the determination to win silverware."
Bernard Kantor, Global Managing Director, Investec, commented: "We are thrilled to have this opportunity to partner with Tottenham Hotspur, one of the world's most famous football clubs and stand alongside the fans in all 2010/2011 cup competitions.
"Tottenham Hotspur has a long history of success in cup competitions and we are delighted to be supporting the future achievements of the club whilst increasing our brand awareness through the immense reach of domestic and European cup football.”
This latest deal means the club now has two principal sponsors for the 2010/2011 season. Tottenham announced Autonomy as its shirt sponsor for all Premier League matches last month.
