The Professional Games Match Officials (PGMO) has landed a three year, seven figure sponsorship deal with Tune Group.
Malaysian based Tune Group, which owns PGMO’s current sponsor Air Asia as well as Tune Hotels, is hopeful that the deal will increase brand awareness by providing them access to 2,000 professional football matches and an estimated global audience of three billion.
Tune Group will benefit from shirt sleeve and training wear branding on all match referees, assistant referees and fourth officials.
Mike Riley, general manager of PGMO, hopes that this partnership will be as productive as the previous Air Asia deal which "resulted in significant investment in the training and development of officials at all levels of the game".
