Sussex County Football League team East Grinstead Town is celebrating a twenty year sponsorship by Rydon Group.
Forest Row based Rydon Group first sponsored the club back in 1991. The latest renewal makes the partnership the longest running in Sussex non-league football and possibly the whole country.
Speaking of the continued commitment Rydon chief executive Bob Bond said: "Over the years we have seen the Wasps go through highs and lows but this season, under their relatively new management team, looks like being an exciting and hopefully a successful one.
“As the club’s long-term sponsors we have supported them throughout the last two decades and we will be following with interest the new season and sincerely hope it will be a successful one for the club.”
Club chairman Richard Tramontin said: "These are difficult economic times and it can be hard for businesses to make sponsorship commitments so we are delighted to have such a well-known local name still supporting the Wasps.
"Rydon have been fantastic backers of the football club for an incredible 20 years now and we are grateful for their continued support. We are lucky to have such good principal sponsors and I know that our arrangement with Rydon is envied by all of our rival clubs in Sussex because of its longevity and the interest they take in the club.”
