Huddersfield FC director tackles walk for ‘Keep it Up’

Huddersfield FC commercial director Sean Jarvis has pledged to walk to the The Galpharm Stadium for Town’s final home game of the season and is urging supporters to do the same to raise money for the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign.

The seven mile walk from Halifax Town Centre to the stadium will take place on 1st May, as Huddersfield take on Colchester in their final match of the 09/10 season.

It’s not the first time Jarvis has helped the campaign which raises money for both the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Huddersfield Town Academy. He also took part in the 250+ miles ‘Pedals for Pounds’ cycle ride last August which generated over £50,000.

Huddersfield FC are encouraging fans to get involved and make their way to the stadium by foot too.

Simply pay £5 to register and you will receive a free KIU t-shirt - call Cammie Batten at Huddersfield Town on 01484 484140 or email cammie.batten@htafc.com.

Alternatively, you can join Sean on his walk on the morning of the game - simply join him at the meeting point, the Bowling Green Pub in Halifax town centre, at 10.30am on Saturday.
