Social enterprise company kick4change, who design their own 4sport branded football boots perfect for junior football, have scooped a prestigious award at a local awards event.
The Football Trade Directory marketing partners attended the Social Enterprise Yorkshire and Humber event having been shortlisted in two categories “Innovation in Enterprise” and “Social Entrepreneurs of the Year”, claiming the "Innovation in Enterprise" award.
Speaking about the award, Co-founder Jamie Tosh said:
"We hope this award recognition will give kick4change the foundation to promote our innovative social enterprise and allow us to further engage with schools, and grass roots clubs to develop the business and achieve our goals.
Kick4change have turned an everyday, fundamental piece of sports kit into a sustainable revenue stream. We do this by returning 50% of our profits directly back to a club of the purchasers choice. Quite simply, the more parents who purchase our boots and select a particular club, the greater the amount of money going back to that club.
We are committed to reinvesting our profits back into the grass roots game, providing a great incentive for clubs and parents to purchase and create a sustainable revenue stream.
Boots are available now at £14.99, come in black or white and are child friendly, with Velcro fastening and moulded studs.
