Chesterfield FC's new ground will have an all-seated capacity of 10,338 and cost £11.5m to build.
The details were recently revealed by stadium constructors GB Building Solutions.
Announcing it had secured the contract to build the new stadium, it added that Chesterfield FC had netted funding of £2.5m from the Football Foundation and East Midlands Development Agency.
GB’s contract is to build the new ground – including banqueting facilities and further bar and concourse facilities for supporters – and develop all external works including car and coach parking, and landscaping.
Construction company chairman Martin Smout said: “This development is positive not only because of the redevelopment opportunities it presents for Chesterfield but also because it shows funding for new projects is becoming possible again.”
Work will start later this month and take 50 weeks to complete.
Preparatory groundworks are currently taking place at the former Dema site.
